Until recently, Poland hadn’t been high on my travel radar actually. But, when I stumbled across some photos of Krakow during the Winter and I just knew I had to get there before Christmas was over! Not only did the history and beautiful architecture draw me in, but the Christmas Markets were going to be in full swing during my December travels, so I knew I had to make it over there and brave the cold for that good ‘ol mulled wine and cute, cosy cafes.
During my research process, I stumbled upon what appeared to be the coolest apartments in Krakow, fit with all the amenities and prime location one could desire. Not only this, but the owners are extremely passionate about their family run business, and their dream of wanting to create special accommodation in Krakow has definitely been acheived. After staying for three nights, and finding it hard to leave and go explore each day, I have to say, if my future apartment doesn’t look like the ones at Relaks, then I’ll be extremely disappointed!
Here is what my stay looked like at Relaks Apartamenty:
Stepping into the apartment, we were all quite shocked. Firstly, because it was even more spacious than we imagined; perfect for three people! And secondly, because the interiors were just so cool and trendy! The bathroom is modern and spacious, where you’ll probably have one of the best hot showers ever! Not only is it complete with its own kitchen, but the dining and lounge area allow for enough space for 3-4 people to feel comfortable and as though they aren’t on top of each other. While there is one bedroom, the couch actually folds down to create another bed for 2 more people – super comfty, plus you’re right by the TV – perfect! We spent some nights in on the couch, keeping warm and watching a movie while the snow fell and horse drawn carriages trotted past.
Overall, Relaks provided me with one of the most comfortable stays to date, as I was surrounded by memories of home amidst a long-term travel trip!
In your Relaks apartment, you are guaranteed to receive high-quality amenities and facilities that really make your stay all the more special. The apartments are relatively new, and I found everything from the furniture to the kitchen appliances were in pristine condition! Surprisingly, a big highlight of the apartment for me was actually the kitchen. After travelling for so long and staying in hotels, the kitchen made me feel more at home and allowed us to make our own meals. In the end, the apartment started to feel like home and gave us serious apartment inspiration, that’s for sure!
Now, when your apartment looks this cool and is uber relaxing, it can be hard to peel yourself away and get out and explore! Lucky for us, Relaks Apartamenty is in a prime location in Krakow. Not only was is just a 5-10 minute walk from the main train station and 1 minute away from the trams, but the real gem of Krakow was just a 5 minute wander from our apartment, too. The gem I’m referring to is Old Town Square, of course! I was lucky enough to experience my first ever Christmas Markets here, and ended up visiting every day during my stay! The square is a lively place filled with great food, architecture and history, plus you can find some free walking tours here, too. I highly recommend continuing through the square and onto Wawel Castle for some epic views of the city as well.
What I loved about Relaks Apartamenty was that the staff were just so welcoming and friendly. They recommended many cool cafes, sites to see and explained how to get around the area. Without them, my trip to Poland just wouldn’t of been the same!

Other Awesome Apartments!
While the apartment I stayed in (and fell in love with) was absolutely amazing, I just had to show you all of the other cute and trendy apartments on offer! Some accommodate 1-2 people while others can fit 3-4 in them, while they all include high quality amenities, cooking facilities, pristine bathrooms and enviable decor. Have a look through them all to find the right one for you; it isn’t easy choosing!
Looking back on my stay, I actually am missing Krakow a lot; it is one of those cities I would happily head back to visit again! Relaks Apartamenty completely made my stay all the more special and homey, and has given me some serious future home inspiration. Just when you think this family run business couldn’t get any sweeter, more apartments are being thrown into the mix this year, along with a breakfast service and reception. Now is the time to get yourself to Krakow, people!
I was welcomed as a guest of Relaks Apartamenty, but however, as always, opinions are my own!
